An old dial thermostat in the hall meant the heating ran all day in an empty house, while the back bedroom stayed cold.

What we did
We fitted a smart thermostat with hot water control and smart valves on six radiators, then set up the schedule on both of the owners' phones.

The result
The heating only runs when someone's in, and each room has its own temperature. They expect to save around £200 a year.
